Walnut Brain Boost Dessert Recipe

Ingredients: 

1 cup walnuts, chopped

1/2 cup honey

1/4 cup coconut oil

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

Fresh berries for garnish (optional)

Instructions: 

  1. In a saucepan over low heat, melt the coconut oil.

  2. Add the chopped walnuts to the saucepan and toast them gently for 3-4 minutes until fragrant.

  3. Stir in the honey, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly.

  4. Once the mixture is well combined and slightly thickened, remove it from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes.

  5. Spoon the walnut mixture into small dessert cups or moulds, pressing down gently to pack it in.

  6. Place the dessert cups in the refrigerator and chill for at least 1 hour until firm.

  7. Once chilled, garnish with fresh berries if desired and serve.
