Spicy Ginger Onion Stir-Fry Recipe
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 onions, thinly sliced
2-inch piece of ginger, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 tablespoon honey
Cooked rice or noodles, for serving
Chopped green onions, for garnish
Instructions:
Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add the sliced onions and ginger to the skillet and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they start to soften.
Add the minced garlic and sliced bell peppers to the skillet and continue to stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.
Sprinkle the black pepper over the vegetables and stir to combine.
In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, and honey. Pour the sauce over the vegetables in the skillet.
Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly, until the vegetables are coated in the sauce and heated through.
Serve the spicy ginger onion stir-fry hot over cooked rice or noodles.
Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
