Sensational Black Sesame Dessert Delight Recipe

Ingredients: 

1 cup black sesame seeds

1/2 cup sugar (adjust according to taste)

2 cups water

1/4 cup glutinous rice flour

2 cups coconut milk

Pinch of salt

Optional toppings: toasted sesame seeds, chopped nuts, or fresh fruit

Instructions: 

  1. Toast the black sesame seeds in a dry skillet over medium heat until fragrant, about 3-4 minutes. Be careful not to burn them. Let them cool slightly.

  2. Grind the toasted sesame seeds in a blender or food processor until they form a smooth paste.

  3. In a saucepan, combine the ground sesame paste, sugar, and water. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and let it cool.

  4. In a separate bowl, mix the glutinous rice flour with a little water to form a smooth paste.

  5. Return the sesame mixture to low heat and gradually stir in the glutinous rice flour paste, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.

  6. Add the coconut milk and salt, stirring until well combined. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the mixture is smooth and thickened.

  7. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before serving.

  8. Serve the black sesame dessert warm or chilled, topped with toasted sesame seeds, chopped nuts, or fresh fruit if desired.
